Some Lessons Are Never Learned
One of the things I love about CO, and Denver specifically, is the weather. However, it can be pretty day to day in the spring. While it is technically not spring yet, we got a taste of it yesterday and the day before (sunny and 60). When I awoke to go to church this morning I knew the weather wasn't forecasted to be the same, but it was only slightly overcast and chilly.
If you remember last February I wrote about wearing my Chaco flips on a day much like the one I have just described, but ended up walking in snow in them later that night. I posed the question of whether or not I had learned my lesson...well that question was definitely answered today. I wore my Chaco flips to church today, and yes, it snowed! When I went in my toes were happy, when I came out they berated me for not learning my lesson!
So, I pose the same question one year later: Have I learned my lesson?
My answer is the same as last time...probably not :D
grace and peace.
